As you pull back and steel yourself for the dragon's strike, awaiting your
opportunity to return an attack and hopefully fell the beast, the dragon's
expression turns from one of an aggressive curiosity to one of genuine affection!
It's totally a trick--would a real dragon have such nice eyeliner
or lipstick?!

"Zounds! What's this?!" you bemusedly think to yourself, as the dragon lowers
its neck to nuzzle you with its snout. "This terrifying creature seems to...love me."
As the dragon brushes near it, your sword begins to whistle, every so softly into the
dragon's ear. And, lo, as if by magic, a story begins to unfold before your eyes:
The sword once belonged to the mightiest king in Infinitia's history, the great
Gorgotron, a man so powerful yet kindly, that even the beasts of the bog bowed down
before him. It was during his reign that this particular dragon began to terrorize
the countryside, many moons ago. When the king's men failed to defeat the beast,
the king himself had to take back up his weapon and ride once more into battle.
When he finally confronted the beast, the battle raged for days. Weary and beaten
both, neither competitor would submit, nor was able to gain the upper hand. Finally,
exhausted, both warriors collapsed. And, eyeing each other one last time as enemies,
a mutual respect grew. An unspoken truce was created, and soon the two were best of
friends. Inseperable for eons, until the man's life, a span much shorter than a
dragon's, was no more. And now, seeing his old friend's sword in your hand, the
dragon thinks he has returned!
As you watch this amazing story unfold before you, the dragon, sensing your purpose
there, scoops you up and places you on the back of his neck. While shocked, you feel
secure. Your sword once again whistles to the dragon, and you're off!
